Five modules to help you to understand yourself, each other and become more conscious of what happens in the space between you which is your relationship.

Welcome

There is you.

There is the person you love.

And then there is the space between you.

That space holds everything you have created together. Your friendship. Your attraction. Your tenderness. Your history. Your inside jokes. Your disappointments. Your sex. Your arguments. Your rituals. Your resentments. Your repair. The things you say and the things you have learned not to say.

It also holds everything each of you brought with you.

Long before you met your partner, you were already learning what relationship meant.

You learned what happened when people were angry. Whether feelings were welcomed or uncomfortable. Whether people stayed close during conflict or disappeared. Whether love was freely expressed or something you had to earn. Whether your needs mattered. Whether touch felt safe. Whether independence was celebrated. Whether vulnerability brought connection, rejection, ridicule or silence.

And then one day your world met somebody else’s world.

This journey is about becoming curious about what happened next.

Not so you can decide who is right.

Not so you can diagnose each other.

Not so you can become the perfect couple who never gets triggered, argues or disconnects.

But so you can begin to see yourselves and each other more clearly.

Over five modules, you’ll explore your relationship mentally, emotionally and physically.

There will be things to read, questions to sit with privately, things to write, nervous system and body awareness practices, conversations to have together and experiments to take into everyday life.

Some of it may feel surprisingly easy.

Some of it might bring something tender to the surface.

Go slowly.

There is no prize for getting through this quickly.

In fact, the less you treat this like a course you need to finish and the more you treat each module like a date with your relationship, the more you are likely to discover.

Set aside around 90 minutes for each module where possible.

Put your phones away. Make tea. Sit somewhere comfortable. Go outside if that feels better. You don’t have to make it serious simply because the work matters.

And remember that curiosity will take you much further here than certainty.
